Labnet Vortemp 56 is a shaking incubator for heating and mixing samples in microtubes or microplates. This benchtop unit combines temperature control with orbital shaking for sample incubation workflows. Specifications provided for this model include an approximate temperature range of ambient +5C to 99.5C, speed range of 100-1,200 RPM with up to 1,400 RPM on 60 Hz models, 3 mm shaking orbit, capacity for 56 microtubes or up to 4 standard microplates, and temperature uniformity of +/-0.5C. This unit is in very good condition with light to moderate cosmetic wear from prior use. Shaking and heating functions were tested at intake and are working according to specifications.
