Description
The Affymetrix GeneAtlas Fluidic & Imaging Station, manufactured in December 2009, is a pre-owned benchtop laboratory system designed to automate microarray processing for gene expression analysis. This system includes a Fluidics Station with a robotic arm for automatic reagent washing and staining, and an Imaging Station equipped with custom optics and a CCD camera for capturing high-resolution images of processed array strips. It allows for the parallel processing of four biological samples, reducing manual pipetting and handling errors. The compact design is ideal for personal lab setups rather than large core facilities. While the unit powers on, further functional testing was not conducted due to the absence of necessary accessories and software. The device shows minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use.

Unit powers on successfully. Due to the lack of the required GeneAtlas workstation, software, microarray consumables, and calibration accessories, further functional testing could not be performed. Has minor cosmetic scratches form normal use. See photos for details.
