With a fine 100-200 mesh, it is optimal for analytical separations, deionization, and sample preparation. This resin comes in moist beads or spheres, with a particle size max of 15% on 60 mesh and through 170 mesh. It is insoluble in water, retains a beige to brown color, and is packed in a plastic bottle with a total wet volume capacity of at least 1.7 meq/mL. Newly manufactured, there are minor cosmetic imperfections.
