This resin is available in moist beads or spheres, packaged in a plastic bottle with a volume capacity of 2.5 kg. It contains sulfonic acid groups and has a wet volume capacity of 1.7 meq/mL in its H form. With a beige to brown coloring and water retention capacity of 50 to 58%, this ion-exchange resin is insoluble in water.
