Description
The Malvern Instruments CHR7100 OMNISEC System, manufactured in 2019, is a comprehensive chromatography and detection system designed for precise polymer characterization. This pre-owned system includes the CHR7100 OMNISEC Resolve Chromatography Module and the CHR6000 OMNISEC Reveal Detector Module. It features an integrated pump, degasser, autosampler, and column oven, along with a highly sensitive refractive index detector and viscometer. The system is capable of measuring molecular weights as low as 200 g/mol and supports UV/Vis absorbance measurements from 190-900 nm. It offers a pump flow rate of 0.01 – 10 mL/min with an accuracy of ± 1%, and a pressure range up to 5000 PSI. The autosampler can handle up to 192 samples, with a temperature control range of 4-60°C. While the system powers on and displays normal operation indicators, further functional testing was limited due to missing software and accessories. Cosmetic wear is consistent with prior laboratory use.

Units power on successfully. Fans operate normally, and front indicators illuminate green. Further functional testing could not be performed due to missing software, computer and accessories. Cosmetic condition shows minor scratches from normal laboratory use. See photos for details.
