The MALDI Microflex MBT Smart Biotyper, manufactured in the United States, is a powerful microbial identification system designed for high-throughput labs. Utilizing Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS), it enables rapid microorganism identification by analyzing their molecular fingerprints. This system, in good condition, includes power/data cables, a computer with necessary software, and user manuals. It features a smart-beam laser for longer life and a high-performance vacuum system for reduced maintenance. Ideal for clinical, pharmaceutical, and food/beverage microbiology applications, it ensures rapid results with its expansive reference library covering 4,320 species. The optional MBT Explorer Software Module allows custom library creation and advanced bioinformatics analyses.
Technician comment
Machine powered on and seems to function normal, unable to fully test software due to internet connection. Comes with Dell monitor, HP tower, all cables needed, as well as manuals, and CD software. (see pics) Master key is in sealed plastic bag in right side panel door. (see pics)
