This column compartment provides precise temperature control for liquid chromatography (LC) workflows, supporting a temperature range of 5C to 110C with temperature accuracy of ±0.5C. It is designed for rapid heat up and cool down, with 15 minute heat up time and 15 minute cool-down time, helping reduce delays when switching methods. The compartment supports up to 12 LC columns (depending on column length) with a maximum column length of 30 cm, and includes a column identification system for audit trails and troubleshooting. It can be field-upgraded with up to two integrated column switching valves to enable advanced column switching and two-dimensional LC (2D-LC) techniques. At intake, the unit operated and passed basic function checks with no error codes; expect light to moderate cosmetic wear from prior use.
