The Acros Organics Dowex 50WX8, 100-200 mesh ion-exchange resin (Code: 335340025) is a high-capacity, strong acid cation exchange resin. Designed with sulfonic acid groups, it is ideal for efficient cation exchange, suitable for analytical separations, deionization, and sample preparation. The resin, presented in moist beads or spheres, boasts a particle size ranging from 15% maximum on 60 mesh to 15% maximum through 170 mesh. It is packaged in a plastic bottle and has a total wet volume capacity of at least 1.7 meq/mL in H form. This unused product, possibly having minor cosmetic blemishes, retains 50 to 58% water in H form and exhibits a beige to brown coloration. As an insoluble material in water, it is provided in a 2.5 kg quantity.
