Description
The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate AFC-3000 Fraction Collector, manufactured in 2015, is a versatile and robust fraction collector designed for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applications. It supports preparative reversed-phase or normal-phase HPLC, ideal for protein, peptide, and nucleotide purification, with a high flow rate of up to 150 mL/min. This unit, despite being unable to be fully tested, powers on with a blue LED light, though emits a loud sound when the fraction collector arm moves to the left, as observed. It is in good condition and is compatible with a wide range of solvents and buffers, resistant to acids and bases. The collector can accommodate up to 180 tubes or 4 96-well plates, providing flexibility in laboratory settings. Computer and software are not included.
