Description
The Thermo Dionex UltiMate AFC-3000 Fraction Collector, manufactured in 2015, is an adaptable and reliable tool for preparative reversed-phase or normal-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) processes. Designed for the separation and purification of proteins, peptides, and nucleotides, it supports both analytical and preparative flow rates. The AFC-3000 is built to resist a broad spectrum of solvents, buffers, acids, and bases, and offers a high flow rate capacity of up to 150 mL/min, which minimizes carryover and allows for rapid tube changes. Although not fully tested, the unit powers on with a blue LED light indicator, and overall appears in good condition despite some cosmetic wear and operational noise during arm movement.
