Description
The CBS Scientific P-036 PCR Workstation is a specialized enclosure designed to minimize contamination during PCR amplification reactions. Manufactured in the United States, this unit features a single UV light and dual fluorescent lamps for optimal visibility. The workstation is equipped with an acid-resistant black formica or stainless steel work surface and tempered safety glass fascia. It includes access doors that prevent contamination and slide into a storage compartment during use. The unit has a known defect: the UV light bulb requires replacement, and the left slot front panel for the access door is broken. Despite these issues, the workstation remains a valuable asset for PCR applications, offering a spacious interior for supplies and thermal cyclers. The interior dimensions are 24" x 35" x 20".
