Description
The Thermo HERAsafe KS 18 Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet, made in the United States, ensures safety and effective contamination control with HEPA filters offering 99.995% filtration efficiency. Although needing repairs, it powers on, and the lights and blower function correctly. The motorized front window currently malfunctioned, does not affect its primary safety functions. The spacious work area, with adjustable armrests and easy-to-clean surfaces, complements the eye-level control system, ideally suited for simplified fumigation processes and protection. Additional features include automated airflow compensation, digital airflow verification, and pressure sensor monitoring, ensuring consistent performance. Its stainless-steel work surface effectively contains spills. This unit includes a power cord and operates at 120V, 60Hz.

***This bio-safety cabinet was tested as far as we could. Unit powers on (lights & blower working) but motorized front window is unable to ascend/descend. Unit has slight wear from normal use (warped panels around work area). See photos for further details.
