The Affymetrix GeneTitan Instrument P/N 00-0356 is a powerful molecular biology equipment used to automate array processing from target hybridization to data generation. It combines a hybridization oven, fluidics processing, and state-of-the-art imaging device into a single bench-top instrument. This system has been previously used and shows signs of cosmetic wear, but only includes the GeneTitan Instrument P/N 00-0356 without software. The GeneTitan Multi-Channel (MC) Instrument and proven GeneChip Array Plates in 96- and 384-array layouts provide a hands-free, automated solution for monitoring gene expression and genome-wide SNP genotyping. With high throughput and laboratory productivity, this equipment minimizes user intervention and allows unattended, overnight processing of large numbers of samples in parallel. It is designed for operators with minimal microarray experience and delivers high-quality, consistent data every time, suitable for gene expression and genotyping studies. The imaging device in the GeneTitan MC Instrument uses an external, high-intensity xenon lamp and dual excitation and emission filters to capture images from array plates for use in expression, genotyping, and microbiome studies.
