Description
The Shibuya Hoppmann EP04/06 Elevating Prefeeder is expertly manufactured to manage small, lightweight components efficiently, thanks to its robust design and stainless steel construction. With a hopper capacity between 4 to 6 cubic feet, this prefeeder can deliver products at a steady belt speed of up to 35 feet per minute. Its cleated elevator belt, with a cleat height of 1.50 inches and a pitch of 6.00 inches, maximizes product handling capabilities. Further assurance of efficient product metering is achieved through a heavy-duty variable speed AC motor running on 208-230/460V with 1/4 horsepower. Despite unable to fully test, the unit powers on and performs basic functions with no indications of dysfunction noted. Standard features include FDA/USDA approved materials and a hopper clean-out door. Optional upgrades are available, such as safety covers and elevator extensions.
