The Life Technologies E-Gel Imager Camera Hood with Light Base, model 4466601, is a compact imaging solution designed to capture high-quality images of gels with fluorescent DNA stains like SYBR Safe and SYBR Green, as well as E-Gel EX agarose gels. This imaging system includes a scientific-grade 1.3-megapixel camera hood and interchangeable bases tailored for diverse lab requirements. It is capable of supporting both fluorescent and colorimetric visualization applications. While the unit powers on and passes basic tests, it has not been fully tested; however, there is no indication of non-functionality.
