Description

Product Information

The Thermo Q Exactive Plus LC/MS Mass Spectrometer offers a powerful solution for large- and small-molecule applications. This used system, manufactured by Thermo, incorporates advanced quadrupole technology that ensures high performance and tremendous versatility. The Q Exactive Plus provides unmatched confidence in characterizing, quantifying, and confirming analyses with a resolving power of up to 140,000 (FWHM) at m/z 200 and optional enhanced resolution to 280,000 (FWHM). It features sophisticated parallel reaction monitoring and data-independent acquisition for reproducible quantitation results. The nitrogen-filled Orbitrap mass analyzer, along with advanced ion optics and adaptable ion source options such as ESI and APCI, add precision to low-abundance ion quantitation. Operating on 230V and 50Hz/60Hz, this versatile LC/MS system is suitable for research use, providing accurate mass detection and high sensitivity in complex matrices.

Technician comment

Unit powers on and completes initial startup. Full functional testing could not be performed due to required control software not being available at time of evaluation. Instrument is pre-owned and was removed from a laboratory environment. Overall physical condition appears good with minimal wear consistent with previous use. Inquire about validation and calibration services if available for an additional cost. See photos for details.
