Description
The Thermo Scientific Cytomat 6001 C-4, model 5085408, is an automated incubator designed for precise control of temperature, humidity, and CO₂ concentrations, ideal for continuous and reproducible cell culture processes in biotechnology and biomedical research. Manufactured to provide uniform and stable environmental conditions, it supports automated assay systems with a temperature range of 10° to 50°C and humidity up to 95%rH. The unit features robotic integration for automated plate handling and storage, facilitating high-throughput screening and live-cell imaging preparation. Please note, the unit displays an error condition on the control panel and requires inspection and service. It was previously used in a working laboratory environment.

Unit powers on; exterior display shows "0.5" and interior display shows "E FF" error. Internal fan is running, indicating the unit is receiving power. During testing, none of the front panel buttons or controls were responsive, preventing further operation and testing. Unable to verify heating or other functions due to the unresponsive control panel and active error condition. Preowned from a working laboratory environment. Recommended for inspection and service.
