Description
Cytiva AKTA Avant 150 preparative protein purification chromatography system for method and process development. Built for scalable purification workflows, the AKTA avant integrates valves, detectors, and a built-in fraction collector for automated control and fraction handling. The system supports preparative liquid chromatography techniques including affinity chromatography, gel filtration or size exclusion chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, and hydrophobic interaction chromatography. Flow rate range is 0.01 to 150 mL/min with up to 5 MPa (50 bar) operating pressure. The instrument is controlled via UNICORN software and includes BufferPro for automatic buffer preparation and UNICORN design of experiments (DoE) tools for accelerated process development. Includes a Windows PC with UNICORN 7.5 software installed and power/data cables. Condition Class G (Good): pre-owned in usable condition per intake inspection with normal cosmetic wear; side panel is missing but does not affect system functionality. Buyer should validate fitness for their specific application and perform any required site calibration and qualification.
