Description
SMS Surface Measurement Systems DVS Intrinsic Dynamic Water Vapor Adsorption Analyzer (DVS Intrinsic Dynamic Water Vapor Adsorption Analyzer) is a gravimetric DVS instrument for measuring water vapor adsorption and desorption isotherms. It uses an SMS UltraBalance digital microbalance to detect mass change as a carrier gas passes the sample at controlled relative humidity, producing adsorption/desorption curves for hygroscopicity and water activity related studies. The system supports small samples up to 4 g and up to 40 mm, with high sensitivity for resolving 0.1 ug mass changes. Temperature stability is controlled to within ±0.1 C with independent zones for the sample and microbalance, and high-precision mass flow control for accurate RH. Built-in network connectivity supports data sharing and remote analysis, and one computer can control up to 5 operating units via DVS-IntrinsiLink.
