Description
Thermo Electron Model 3721 Precision Low Temperature Incubator 815 (Cat# 51221106) is a large-capacity refrigerated incubator built for precise temperature control in life science workflows. The unit was tested at REUZEit and verified to meet specifications, with both refrigeration and heating functions operating properly. Condition Class VG (Very Good) with light-to-moderate cosmetic wear from prior use. Designed for applications such as biological oxygen demand (BOD) testing, microbiology, environmental analysis, pharmaceutical research, and sample conditioning, this reach-in incubator uses microprocessor control and forced-air circulation to maintain stable setpoints. Temperature performance includes microprocessor display with 0.1 C resolution, temperature uniformity of about +/-0.5 C at 37 C, and temperature sensitivity of about +/-0.1 C at 37 C. The chamber supports a -10 C to +50 C operating range and includes high/low temperature protection and audible/visual alarms, plus an access port and RS-232/recorder connections for temperature documentation.
