Thermo Scientific Varioskan LUX Spectrophotometer (VL0000D0), manufactured in a pre-owned laboratory setting, is an advanced multimode microplate reader for absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence workflows. The unit powers on and initializes with a solid green indicator light. It supports top and bottom reading and is designed for assays across a wide range of plate formats (6 to 1536 wells), including endpoint, kinetic, spectra, multipoint, and kinetic spectra. Key performance capabilities include monochromator-based wavelength selection for absorbance and fluorescence, spectral scanning for luminescence modes, and automated dynamic range selection to help manage low and high signal intensity in a single run. The system also includes an integrated gas module for O2 and CO2 measurement in the chamber. Full functional qualification could not be completed because compatible software was not available during intake; please validate fitness for your specific application.
