Description
Panasonic MDF-U731M Biomedical Freezer (also listed as Sanyo MDF-U731M) is a large-capacity upright biomedical freezer built for laboratory grade storage of enzymes, vaccines, culture media, reagents, and other biologics. Manufactured for -30C class operation with cold wall direct cooling and manual defrost, it uses microprocessor temperature control with LED display, thermistor sensing, and non-volatile memory to resume settings after power interruptions. The unit includes an alarm and recording system with high/low temperature alarms (adjustable) plus power failure and remote alarm contact, along with a lockable door latch for secure sample storage. Intake inspection verified working performance at -20C, and the freezer is in excellent condition with minimal prior use and normal cosmetic wear. Features include adjustable wire shelves, access port (left, 30 mm diameter), casters with leveling feet, and a 7-day temperature recorder calibration port.
