The Bird Model 43 Portable Thruline RF Wattmeter is a field-proven, insertion-type instrument designed for accurate measurement of forward and reflected continuous wave (CW) power in 50 Ohm coaxial transmission lines under various load conditions. Manufactured by Bird, this versatile wattmeter offers full-scale accuracy of 5% and utilizes quick change (QC) type connectors for ease of use. Despite being used, this unit powers on and passes basic tests, with only minor cosmetic signs of wear. It is tailored for demanding environments, featuring a rugged metal housing. The Model 43 can measure power ranging from 100 mW to 10 kW over a frequency range of 450 kHz to 2.7 GHz using standard Bird plug-in elements (not included). Two additional elements can be stored in its housing. Ideal for continuous monitoring or instant readings in RF applications.
