Description
The Thermo Scientific Max Q SHKA2508 is a dual-action orbital reciprocating shaker ideal for applications such as growing bacteria, dissolution studies, and staining of electrophoresis gels and chemical extractions. This unit, in excellent used condition, features a speed range of 40 to 400 RPM, a capacity of 15 lbs, and a built-in timer for repeatable results. Its analog control system allows variable speed control, suitable for gentle to vigorous agitation. The shaker can operate in a variety of environments, including incubators, warm rooms, and environmental chambers, across temperatures from 4 to 40°C and humidity conditions of 20 to 80% non-condensing. The Thermo Scientific Max Q SHKA2508 provides both back-and-forth or fixed circular shaking motion and includes a metal locking tab to prevent accidental speed adjustments.
