Description
The VWR Advance Digital Melting Apparatus 75840-112, in very good condition, is designed to determine the purity of samples and efficiently heat up to three samples simultaneously. This apparatus features a clear LCD screen displaying temperature, date, and time, with an audible alarm that indicates when the set temperature is reached. It also includes a large viewing window with 8x magnification, illuminated by a white LED light for enhanced clarity. Despite some cosmetic imperfections, such as a loose lower arm knob owing to missing screws, the unit functions as intended and passes all functional tests. It offers on-board memory for recording up to 1000 tests (four temperatures each). With a temperature accuracy of ±1% and a range from 5°C above ambient to 400°C, this device is ideal for laboratory settings. Note that power cord is included, but no computer or additional software.
