The Molecular Devices SpectraMax 190 Microplate Reader is a reliable, high-performance spectrophotometer, ideal for UV-Vis life science applications, particularly DNA analysis. This fully functional, turnkey system allows data acquisition in endpoint, kinetic, and spectral scan modes across the UV-visible range. Its patented multichannel optical design mimics a dual-beam spectrophotometer to directly measure each sample, eliminating errors due to variations in light output. Suitable for reading 96-well microplates with high precision and speed, it features a temperature-independent method of pathlength correction along with standard temperature control and shaking capabilities. This refurbished instrument, which includes power cables and software files, operates at 100-240v with 50/60Hz and does not include a computer. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with StakMax Microplate Stacker and automation systems.
