Description
The Thermo Scientific JLF430A Jewett Refrigerator/Freezer Combo is a versatile unit designed for cold storage needs in laboratory settings. Manufactured by Thermo Scientific, this combo is in Fair condition, with some cosmetic imperfections and a need for minor repairs such as a door latch fix. Despite these issues, the unit powers on and cools effectively, though users may notice some operational noise, which is suggestive of minor mechanical or compressor sounds. A key is included for secure access. With dimensions that promote optimal use of lab space and a requisite 115V power supply (50Hz/60Hz), this unit is suitable for environments that require the simultaneous storage of samples at cold and freezing temperatures. The interior bears marks typical of previous use, which do not impact its functionality. Note that the unit does not come with additional power or data cables, software, or manuals, so purchasers should be prepared to source these if needed.
Technician comment
Unit powers on and functions as intended. One Key included. Cooling/operating performance observed; however, the unit produces noticeable operating noise (could be compressor or mechanical) during use. Interior surfaces show visible marks/signs of prior use. Marks are cosmetic only and do not affect functionality. See photos
