Description
The GE Healthcare AKTA Pilot, model 18117063, is a pre-owned automated liquid chromatography system designed for development, scale-up, and production processes. This system is bio-compatible, hygienic, and sterilizable, capable of purifying products from milligrams to tens of grams. It adheres to GLP and cGMP guidelines, making it suitable for drug development phases I-III and final-scale production. The AKTA Pilot features pre-programmed method templates for efficient media screening and method optimization. It includes sanitary sensors for continuous in-line measurement of pH, conductivity, and UV absorbance. The system operates with an isocratic and gradient flow rate of 4400 mL/min and a double mode flow rate of up to 800 mL/min. It supports a UV wavelength range of 190-700 nm and a pH range of 0-14. The system is designed for use with all commonly used chromatographic solvents. Please note, no computer is included.
