Description
The Millipore MPGP04001 Millipak Express 40 Filter, manufactured in 2023, is an innovative water filtration solution engineered to produce bacteria-free, particulate-free water for various laboratory needs. Designed for use with Elix Advantage, Milli-Q Advantage A10/Direct/Integral/Reference systems, this hydrophilic membrane filter features a 0.22 µm polyethersulfone (PES) asymmetric membrane. The filter is heat-sealed within a styrene acrylonitrile (SAN) housing to significantly reduce organic and inorganic extractables. This makes it highly suitable for preparing microbiological culture media, biochemical buffers, and reagents, as well as for analytical applications. Notably, this is a new, unused unit, manufactured in France, highlighting scratch and dent cosmetic issues that do not affect performance.
